Design Think | Nespresso
Nespresso® by Nestlé® is a brand of premium coffees with machines and grand crus recognized and admired by many people around the world. However, in Brazil, the boutiques did not have a gift box to translate the premium positioning of the brand. The challenge was to reduce the cost of the gift box by 90% each, search for a supplier, attend to the requirements of the brand asset in the packaging and consider the multi-task environment where the store attendant is. Packaging design - Three sizes of boxes were created with a golden girdle, an allusion to the gift ribbons. The packaging was designed to be easy to assemble. To guarantee a centralization brand in the gift box, two small fittings were added to the box. This fitting induces the consumer to open it in a discovery concept - the movement of down to up, as opening a jewelry box, and making it possible to reduce 90% of the cost.
